Clear priority
To keep dance-minded music in the spotlight on this great Sellaband-community it's important that Nearfield will reach the 50k target soon. I decided to limit the amount of bands I invest in as a 'soft' investment-stop (it will not affect the bands where I believe in). When Nearfield has reached the 50k the gates go open for new talented entries.
You can get some Nearfield-giftparts for free. Look at my wishlist for further information.
Invests in dance-music
60 to 70% of my investments will be dance-music.
The other 30 to 40% is the best of the rest.

Talent-pool
One of the selection criteria is the (young) talent pool. The opinion of this believer is that older and more experienced artists did already have an opportunity to prove the talent.
I don't exclude older and more experienced bands, but I am a little harder to convince.

how to join this competition?
there is only place for 15 bands. Most of them will be dance-producers. 'Young talent with a great future' is another core-genre. Sometimes there is an empty place for other (ready to market) music.
Hi Jurjen, and when do you buy parts in us/me?
the Too Big For My Wishlist Competition isn't the only reason to buy parts. But it helps. Banshee Celtic Band was the first champion (@ june 11th). I think I buy one part or more when you don't expect it.
Remember: I have no budget for a daily champion!!!
