We, Dreadnut Inc., are one of the most happening live acts in NRW, Germany with a fast growing number of fans that come to all our shows dancing, singing and having a great time with us.
Founded in 2004 as a mainly Reggae act featuring 11 musicians, we moved on to many different genres pretty fast, always trying to create our own sound that should be as diverse and refreshing as possible but yet easily recocnisable and - most importantly: Danceable. What has emerged since our foundation is what we describe as "Youngblood Irie Music" - a Blend of Reggae, Ragga, Dancehall, HipHop, Electronic Music and Mainstream Pop.
After putting out two demos and playing larger venues and larger crowds, we finally released our first EP this april. The Songs you can enjoy and listen to right here are from that EP - we have tons and tons of new material in the making that we would love to put out on CD and now, with sellaband.com we have a chance to do that.

We are gonna play a TV Concert on "Kanal 21" a german TV Channel on 02.07.08. If you're from germany and want to join the concert in Bielefeld then just mail us!

Also, we've put a huge promotion for SAB on our Homepage, just surf to www.dreadnut.net to check that out. That is also in the new "look" we're just getting. The design is coming along every doay...
Tomorrow we'll play a huge gig at the Paderborn Sommerfest along with "Wir sind Helden", "Clueso" and "Sebastian Sturm". They are all big in Germany. We'll try to give them demos. The SAB Flyers should also be ready by then, to it'll definetely be a big big day for us!
June 1st:
Today I've added two new vids to our profile - one of them is a new featured video of us. Check them out and enjoy! These vids are also featured on YouTube, MySpace and our Homepage and as you can tell by the slogan: "Dreadnut Inc. - Become a believer at www.sellaband.com/dreadnut" we are doing our very best to draw attention to our Profile here from outside. Getting new people to this place MUST be the way to go!!
Also: On our Homepage, you'll find NEW pictures and a copy of the newspaper article about that, that was on the local newspaper last week.
May 31st:
Today many good things happened: We've received the first look on our new Band Design and I can tell you: It looks great! It'll be somewhere in between Comic and Street Art and I'm sure you'll like it!
Other than that, we've started our Promotion plan outside of SAB. Spamming all the believers that might buy parts and allready have parts of other bands is not the way we want to go. We really want to get new people into SAB - not saying we don't want people from the community believing in us... :)
In order to achieve this, we've designed Flyers that will go in print today. We ordered 10.000 of these and will try to spread them at our gigs, in town, at university... everywhere. It'll be a huge undergoing, but we're sure that we'll find new believers out there - and maybe some other artists will profit from this as well: New Believers are always a good thing. Our next gig will be at the summerfestival at Paderborn University with 12.000 people attaining: that is a huge crowd of possible new believers and hopefully as many of them as possible will receive a flyer there!

Hey folks! Yesterday there was a big article about us in the local newspaper - a whole page just about us. It felt great to read it and for all the german folks around here, we'll put it on our website as soon as we have it in a digital version.

Today was a great day for us because we were mentioned if the Sellaband Tribune and made it into the Office Powerplay three times. We just want to thank everybody at this new home for support, listening and believing!

May 23rd:
I've fnished video-editing last night (after 18 hours of work) but then had some trouble converting the videos out of Final Cut into Quicktime because the compressor wouldn't work. Turns out that there was a software problem with the Mac. Since it was not my computer I was not able to fix it, so the vids won't be available until somtime next week. But trust me: They will look great and carry the spirit of our band and music just fine! I'll have them uploaded to YouTube and here ASAP.
Other than that, we've had a first look at the new banddesign (which will be on MySpace, the HP, here and on all our PR stuff) yesterday and that also looks great. It'll take at least two weeks though to be done.
May 21st:
OK - only two days on SAB and we've already raised 140$. To my ears that sounds pretty good and also, yesterday we were in the Top 10 daily charts which was awesome! I'll be in the studio today and tomorrow editing and cutting our first Live-Video. You'll be able to watch and enjoy it asap. Also, we are trying to get a "regular" music video but that might still take some months. Currently, thousands of things are happening at the same time and I'm really really excited about all of them... I'll keep you updated!
