What......it's October 1st (OKtoberfest) already!!!???
I would just like to take the chance to say Sellaband is STILL a brilliant concept, with a lot of room for growth, and we are moving towards that growth, sometimes slowly, sometimes with growing pains.
Just remember, we're breaking ground here and with the risks come also the courage and ultimately some of the best (music) product in the market....and we all know how good art is needed Today. I know we all have our lives and responsibilities, but if you're here now, it also means you wanna be out of the box (out of the matrix?) and be part of something historical and heroically succesful...are you with me on that, or WHat?!

Lucia is a chanteuse/pianist from Sevilla, Spain, the city of duende, or magic. She is now based in Los Angeles where she composes, performs and teaches. She has traveled around the world with her music and has a broad range of credits as a recording artist globally.
She initiated her formal training as a pianist at the Real Musical Conservatory in Madrid and later attended the notable Berklee College of Music in Boston as a vocalist for Jazz and Contemporary studies.
Music Connection Magazine considers Lucia Iman one of the top 100 unsigned acts of 2007 and calls her “a disarming performer and intriguing live act thanks to her natural talent. Iman shows obvious promise. She is someone to keep an eye on.”
Her style has been described as “Impressionist pop”, a hybrid of lyrical expression, classical arrangements and Jazz infusion, and her sound compared to Feist, Regina Spektor, Fiona Apple and Keren Ann.

Just great and very cool music with the perfect voice and perfomance by Lucia. Some may have to listend twice before they realize (like me). But this is really good and deserves to be recorded on a SAB album. Therefor very strong recomendation to all you believers. And a warning: at one point soon she will pick up speed like Gisel, so buy parts soon or forget about being part of this success story. |
