Noizgate saw the light in January 2003 and is a metal band from Utrecht. Working on a home project initiated by Ray (drums) and Sicky (guitars) it soon became obvious that this project clicked enough to get out of control. When Dennuz (bass) joined ranks with the duo, four songs were written and recorded.
In may 2003 the band hired a rehearse shed in Groenekan and after a number of auditions the band was completed with baldy bawler Maup.
In the spring of 2004 a self produced demo was recorded with 5 songs.
After a number of performances Ray decided to quit the band. After having auditioned several drummers, Noizgate found a suitable drummer in the person of Arne.
So before we knew it, it was October 2007 and Sick decided he wanted to quit because he was dissapointed in the whole music-business and wanted more time for his chopper-chop.
So we went searching again, believing there was a whole bunch of them to pick from.NOT!.... But finally we found Rex, a young lad with the the right attitude so far as we can see. Howdy and welcome to the Holy Church Of Noiz!

"Noizgate" stands for intensety, honesty, simplicity (in the sense of "less is more"), drive and a passion for agression.
